I wanted to speak to a few frequently asked questions in regards to the products I sell in order to help you with your decision.
1.What is the difference between your bath bombs and your bath salts?
While both contain essential oils and provide a wonderful bath experience, the bath salts are aimed more for a detox and aromatic experience. The salts are recommended to help with ailments such as back pain, headaches, tension, difficulty sleeping, etc. On the other hand, the bath bombs provide more of a skin-softening experience. The organic almond oil/ organic fractionated coconut oil in the bath bombs create a smooth and silky feel for your skin post bath.
2. How many baths will the salts and the bombs last?
The bath salts will last 2-3 uses for a 12 oz. bottle by using approximately 1/2 cup of salts per bath. For a foot bath, however, only a couple tablespoons are needed.
The bath bombs will last 1-2 uses by using one bomb for an average sized tub, but for larger soaking tubs, two bombs are suggested per bath.
3. What oils are used in your blends such as Cold & Flu, Autumn Bliss, etc?
Autumn Bliss: nutmeg, clove bud, orange
Tea Tree Detox: tea tree, rosemary, lemon
Cold & Flu: frankincense, peppermint, spearmint, cinnamon leaf, lime, ginger root, lavender
Mojito: lime, peppermint
Sinus & Headache: lavender, lemon, peppermint, frankincense
Peace & Quiet: sandalwood, lemon, vanilla
4. What specifically are the oils not recommended for children or pregnant and nursing moms?
Peppermint, rosemary, and eucalyptus are not recommended for children under 10 as they can cause respiratory issues or lead to seizures. If you choose to use this oils on or around your children, please use caution.
There are also oils not recommended for pregnant or nursing moms. Since oils are absorbed through the skin and travel through the bloodstream, there is thought that they may pass through the placenta or breast milk. Eucalyptus, myrtle, nutmeg, and rosemary are some of the oils found in my products which should be avoided. Check out this article for a complete list.
