We are gearing up for cheer camp over here at the Meginness household!
I’m sure that you may not be as excited for four days of cramming in routines and spending hours on end with emotional teenage girls, but let me tell you–I am! Cheer camp is full of bonding together and encouraging one another. It’s challenging physically and psychologically, but the pay off of getting down routines with your squad is worth it!
I’ve put together some little encouraging gifts for the girls each day, which have just turned out wonderfully, and I want to share them with you.
Maybe you aren’t a cheer coach, but maybe you are in charge of a snack for your child’s extracurricular activity, or maybe you are a small group teacher, or you just want to use them for your family. Whatever the case, I hope this helps you find creative ways to encourage the people in your life.
“Love you from bow to toe” tags. You can print the tags here from Creative Miss.
I attached them to simple black bows that I purchased on Amazon here and nail polish for the girls’ toes that was on clearance.
*You could use this idea as a gift for your special little girl, or you could use it as a party favor!
“You’re doing a beary good job” tags. I designed these myself, and I’ll work on getting those posted for print!
I attached them to bags of gummy bears that I purchased at Wal-Mart.
*A little bit of sugar goes a long way with kids! You could put these in a lunchbox or as a gift to church workers, school helpers, or parents helping with activities.
“Thanks for always going the Extra mile” tags. You can print the tags here from The Penny Wise Mama.
I attached them to packs of Extra gum from Wal-Mart (an 8 pack runs about $5.50).
*Gum is such a simple and versatile item to give as a little encouragement!
“Put your best foot forward” tags. You can print the tags here from Jacey’s Crazy Daisy.
I attached them to fruit by the foot packs that I purchased a Wal-Mart.
*This is another one that would be good for a lunchbox or for a child’s extracurricular group.
The only additional things I purchased were card stock and orange twine from Dollar Tree.
These are cheap, fun ways to encourage others without breaking the bank or draining your ink cartridge! I hope your loved ones enjoy the boost of confidence!
